Annual International Scientific Conference of the State University - Higher School of Economics «Modernization of economy and the state»

At the VII annual International scientific conference “Modernization of Economy and the State” of State University – Higher School of Economics on 4-6 of April 2006 in Moscow a report about Programme of Main Actions for Celebration of Wassily Leontief Centenary and the work of  Organizing Committee for preparation of Wassily Leontief’s Centenary Celebration was presented.

The Intermediate International Input-Output meeting

The meeting was organized by International Input-Output Association in Sendai, Japan, on 26-28 of July 2006.

In the framework of the Conference, Professor Masaaki Kuboniwa, the member of Organizing Committee for preparation of Wassily Leontief’s Centenary Celebration presented on the materials of Leontief Centre main events and actions of Programme of Main Actions for Celebration of Wassily Leontief Centenary.

Installation of Wassily Leontief’s bust on the alley of monuments to the Nobel Prize winners – graduates of the St.-Petersburg University The International Institute of Pitirim Sorokin-Nikolay Kondratieff addressed in 2004 to the President of the Russian Academy of Science a request to conduct a series of actions, devoted to the Leontief’s centenary, including creation and installation of Leontief’s bust and a memorial plaque in the St.-Petersburg University.
